1. Control of Material Temperature

Different raw materials have corresponding temperature requirements. If the plastic material has poor fluidity, the temperature should be increased to control it within the optimal flow value range.

2. Control of Mold Temperature

Different injection products have different geometric shapes, sizes, and wall thickness ratios, and have different requirements for the cooling system, and the mold temperature controls the cooling time of the product to a large extent, so when the mold temperature changes, the shrinkage rate There will also be great changes, and when the mold temperature remains stable, the size of the injection molded product is more accurate, and there will be no defects such as deformation, poor gloss, and cooling spots. Therefore, relevant personnel should try to keep the mold at an allowable low temperature, which can not only shorten the injection cycle but also improve the efficiency of production management, so that the physical properties of the raw materials are in the best state. In addition, in the manufacturing process of injection molded products, the setting value of mold temperature should be within the recommended temperature range of raw materials, and cannot be changed arbitrarily.

3. Adjustment and Control of Pressure and Exhaust

When debugging the mold, the appropriate locking force and injection pressure should be determined to ensure that the air in the mold cavity, the core, and the gas generated by the plastic can be discharged out of the mold through the exhaust groove. It should be noted that if the exhaust is not smooth, there will be insufficient injection, resulting in weld lines or burns.

The above-mentioned molding defects sometimes appear in the same part. When the injection molding product is relatively thin and the mold temperature is relatively high, the product is easily burned, and the burnt part will appear with welding marks at the same time, which is the consequence of not paying attention to the exhaust groove. . In order to avoid burns, the depth of the exhaust shoulder should be designed to be deeper, and a larger ventilation groove should be opened at the rear of the shoulder so that the gas passing through the shoulder can be quickly discharged out of the mold. An exhaust slot should also be opened on the ejector rod to ensure that there is no flash.

4. Supplementary Shaping Control of Injection Molding Product's Size

After demolding, the injection-molded product will deform and warp to varying degrees with the change of temperature. At this time, some auxiliary fixtures can be used for adjustment, and remedial measures can be taken in time. When the product is cooled and solidified, a good adjustment effect can be achieved.

Finally, by strictly managing the entire injection molding process, the size of the injection-molded product will be ideally controlled to avoid large fluctuations in size.
